This song has been all over the radio lately (and is currently one of my fave new songs), and every time I hear it I think of Simone Elkeles' book - Perfect Chemistry. I loved the book (it was one of my top reads of 2010; my review here) and the lyrics remind me of Alex and how he feels about Brittany (not the part about how she won't do the same). I can just see his earnestness about what he would do for her, how big his love is. It definitely makes me smile.
