My Sister-in-law Hannah does a regular Friday feature over at her place called Friday Funk. I thought it might be fun to occasionally feature a song that makes me think of books or characters.
There's been quite a bit of buzz lately about a particular sexy barbarian - Khal Drogo. In honor of the Khal, today's Friday Funk is:

I'm not even going to bother with the lyrics - I think the refrain makes it pretty clear why this song makes me think of the Khal. (He is one sexy MF, isn't he? *nods head*MmmmmmHmmmmm)

Drogo and Danyeris are my favorite couple in Game of Thrones. I mean, yeah, there's the obvious - ZOMG who wouldn't climb him like a tree - but theirs is a sweet love story. I'm a sucker for the "Marriage of Convenience" trope, and this one is very good. I think I like their story best because they're newly in love, whereas all the other players in the story are scheming bastards; I mean besides John Snow, who actually is a bastard. I started reading Danyeris' story in the book (only her parts) and I'm amazed at how much HBO sticks to the book. Of course there's a ton of fan videos already; here's a nice one of the Khal and his Khaleesi:
